I was inspired by the old French Jetons de Vœux, small wish tokens exchanged as expressions of affection. They carried simple, heartfelt messages from one person to another, and I wanted the Love coin to hold that same sincerity. The engraving on the reverse is taken from one of those vows, a soft promise that says, “Non, mon âme jamais de toi ne s’est lassée”, meaning that the heart never tires of what it truly loves.
